Chopped Asian Salad Ingredients
  1. Thaw the edamame by filling a bowl or pan with hot water and adding the frozen edamame. This will take 5 to 10 minutes.
  2. In a small mixing bowl, add all of the dressing ingredients and mix well. Set aside.
  3. Peel and grate the carrots.
  4. Chop the red and green cabbage, red pepper, green onion and cilantro into into small, similar sized pieces.
  5. Drain the edamame.
  6. In a large bowl, add the edamame, carrots, cabbage, red pepper, green onion, cilantro, sliced almonds and the sesame seeds. Toss to mix.
  7. Pour the dressing over the top and toss to evenly coat.
  8. Serve immediately or let it marinate to bring out the flavors.
