  1. Drain and rinse the beans and assemble the other ingredients.
  2. Pour ingredients in a medium pot and stir to combine. Cover and simmer over low heat until the beans are hot, about 5 to 10 minutes.
  3. Serve plain in a bowl or over rice, yellow potatoes or sweet potatoes. Enjoy!
