Whole-Grain Bread

Choose your favorite whole-grain bread for a healthy snack or to accompany your favorite meal.

There’s a difference between whole-grain and multi-grain. You want whole-grain bread with ingredients such as whole wheat, whole oats or other whole things. Multi-grain bread may sound better, but it’s not necessarily whole-grain.

According to the Mayo Clinic, “Whole grain means that all parts of the grain kernel — the bran, germ and endosperm — are used. In contrast, multigrain means that a food contains more than one type of grain, although none of them may necessarily be whole grains. The same goes for other variations, such as the term “seven grain.”” [source]

We really like Dave’s Killer Bread if you can find them.
